Our cocktail pick this week is an a-peel-ing cocktail from blended whisky brand Monkey Shoulder. The tongue-in-cheek cocktail recipe combines the brand's iconic monkey logo with arguably the most classic of whisky cocktails, the Old Fashioned. The fruity twist on a classic could brighten up the end of February, ahead of the start of spring. 

Banana Peel Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

2 parts Monkey Shoulder

1/4 part banana simple syrup

3 dashes black walnut bitters

Method: 

Add ice to a rocks glass. Add the whisky, syrup, and bitters, and stir well. Garnish with banana chip.
